Oil Leak causing idle issue??
Hello, I am back!! I have begun to DIY prom again with my ostrich 2.0. I got the SA table DIALED in. Other little tables/constants modded blah blah blah. The reason for this thread is to ask:
If the end seal on the intake manifold was not properly applied (RTV silicone orange), could this cause a vacuum leak via the PCV system?? It seems reasonable to me.
I am pretty sure it is leaking from there, about a Kennedy half dollar size every time i park. I replaced the stock intake manifold with an Edelbrock TPI and runners about 3 years ago and may have (did) half arsed it.

Re: Oil Leak causing idle issue??
Not likely. It would just act as a tiny source of make-up air, replacing a tiny amount of what otherwise comes in from in front of the TB.
