Steering pump bracket assembly?

I have a 1984 chevy camaro that has a 305 engine in it. I took the engine out to rebuild it, I took many pics to reassemble it, but it seems I forgot to take a picture of the steerin pump.
I have the 2 brackets in place on the block, but when I put the pump in place it's tilted toward the left, and it doesn't look like I'd be able to adjust the tension?
So how should the brackets go and how do I put tension on I for the belt?

Re: Steering pump bracket assembly?

There is a double-sided stud that the top (fulcrum) leg of the bracket fits over. That stud screws into the front of the driver's side head. The hex head in the middle of the stud spaces out the PS bracket slightly and makes things line up properly.

The rest of the attachment points should be fairly self explanatory. But many people get tripped up by that double-sided stud.

Tightening the belt is a bit tricky as there is nowhere obvious to lever against. I use a crow bar and leverage gently off the top of the steering box.

Maybe the attachment may help. It's for '86 MY, but I think '84 MY is the same.
