trans am cold air intake

im a camaro guy. and i know cutting the air box and k&n is a free mod. but i just bought a firebird l98. is their any cold air intake i could make ? or buy for dirt cheap?

The best bang for the buck on a low budget would be to just put a conical K&N on the end of the stock intake hose. Im not too familiar with th firebirds intake so idk if its a map sensor or a maf in the air intake, if its map you could buy the K&N that goes directly on the tb. Im not a big fan of these, it sucks in hot air right off the top of the engine. But ive talked to some people that have said theyre good. I think the first idea's probably better though.
