only relevant if you have a firewall clearance problem
With todays technology better to run LS type coil per cylinder setup

At 1000+ dollars, is it really worth it? I know cars running in SuperStock use them because they'll move the engine back as far as it will go for weight distribution and to get more clearance, they'll switch to a front mount distributor.
You'll still need to add an oil pump drive so that the camshaft can drive the oil pump. That costs extra.
My BBC is pushed back and I still have enough room for a normal MSD distributor. I do however use a crank trigger.
