I went to start my car yesterday and it wouldn't start. It won't even crank. The battery is hood. What else should I look for?

Battery only stores the power , it still has to get to the starter ( and the starter has to be working)
More info needed.
Does dash light up , do you hear any noises , clicking , etc?
Your car has VATS; have you tried a different key or cleaning your one and the contacts inside the Ign?
Have you jumped the starter to prove starter actually works?
Lots of things to consider

 

Could be something as simple as a bad or loose battery cable or dead battery to something as aggravating as the VATS. Vetteoz is right. More info is needed

 

had the starter checked and it is good. all the light work as normal. there are no abnormal noises when i attempt to start the car. The gauges all "peg" ( go to the right) as they normally do. Ive tried both keys that i have and nothing changes.
