Rough Idle

Hey There Gents,

I have a 1992 FireBird, v8 TBI. When i go to start my car up it has a rough idle, it will drop rpm's like it is about to die then gain rpm's. Once i put the car in drive the car runs fine and idles fine after it is warmed up. I am thinking it may have something to do with the throttle body any sugestions? thanks in advance!

Re: Rough Idle

Sounds like the throttle positioning sensor, or the idler air control. Both are on the left side of the throttle body.
