Misfire at high-RPM, misfire or cutting out when hot which resolves itself after cooling down, no spark...

I think autozone tests modules for free, also check wires, coil, cap + rotor, spark plugs first, its free to check and cheaper to replace. Also, my coil on my s10 truck had a crack in it and it would act like your describing when it rained or was humid out. Don't spend your money right away.

And changing the icm would be easier than changing the whole distributor. It just some wires and bolts to get to it. Good luck!

Thanks, it still needs some work, the inner fenders need painting, the accessories will be polished, and new or I might repaint the valve covers. But thank you very much!

Re: 305 help distributor issues

to just replace the module is by far the easy and cheap way out . be sure to use the grease supplied . it acts as a heat sink/transfer , without it new module will last real fast . good luck .
