I bought my 89' i-roc z vert about six months ago and haven't had any problems with it up until now.The engine is the original one and has 63xxx miles on it. I decided to drive it into work one day and when I was leaving to go home the engine wouldn't turn over. Myself and a couple of buddies changed out the distributer, the ignition coil, and the ignition module to see if the engine would turn over. The last thing we had canged was the coil and then it finally turned over. We let it run for a few minutes and it seemed fine. I didn't get a mile down the road before the engine just shut off. After it shut off, I tried to restart it and it had knocked a couple of times and started shuddering and wouldn't turn over again.

Not a convertible issue. You may get more help from one of the other boards.
