max cylinder head warpage
89 v6 firebird.think I got a blown head gasket and cant find the max warpage alowed.its 2.8 mpfi

Re: max cylinder head warpage
Putting a good straight edge across the cylinder head, you shouldn't have any more than 0.003" under the straight edge for a V6 head. 0.004" for a V8 head. Any more than that and the heads need to be milled. Check the block's deck surface also.
