Im not getting power to my injectors or fuel pump
Im not getting power to my injectors or fuel pump
I have a 85 z28 with a 350 tpi. I recently pulled my motor due to a oil leak and when I put it back in my motor is turning over and I have spark to my plugs but my fuel pump isnt turning on or my injectors are not getting signal. Could it be one of the grounds on the back of the motor due to new paint or could I have wired something up wrong? Any advice would be appreciated

You might want to re-check your ground connections AND the fusible links at the starter.
When the ignition is turned on (before cranking) you should hear the fuel pump run for about two seconds, or at lest hear the fuel pump relay operate.
You may also want to check the 20A fuse in the black plastic holder near the radiator/battery, and check the INJ1 and INJ2 fuses in the main fuse panel.

with the key key on the injectors should have power at all times, the PCM cycles the ground. the fuse is for the fuel pump is somewhere near the battery. the injectors get power from a fuse in the fuse panel in the car.
