So i was cruising craigslist and i found this add with a 85 z28 for sale or trade and it so happens that he wanted to trade for a 99-03 mustang which is what im driving a 99 v6 mustang 5 speed with 145xxx miles. i am thinking about going through with the trade but i know nothing about camaros or even chevy so i was hoping some one could help me out. it is an 85 z28 with 68xxx miles. it was converted to a 350 has a 700r4 trans and a holley double pump carb and a edelbrock intake. i have no idea what any of that means its just what he told me. i was wondering if this would be a fair trade (i paid 2000 for my mustang and have only put an intake and dual exhaust on it) and what all those mods he has on it are and a theoretical hp number.

the car definetly needs some TLC if the motor swap was done right id say go for it throw a $1000 paint job on it and enjoy it

 

Agreed, it doesn't look like a bad car, just needs some work (and what wouldn't being a 27 yr old car). Give it some love
