Power failure
This is a strange one. I was dropping a friend off at work today. As I pulled up to the building, the engine cut off. Never had this happen. Turn the key off and back on. Nothing. No gauges, no headlights, no interior lights. The car wasn't running hot even though it's a hot day and no indications of a malfunction. I checked the battery with a volt meter. 12.7 volts so that was fine. Unhooked the battery for a couple of minutes just in case something needed to reset. Nope, that didn't do it either. Put a jump pack on it anyway just to see if that would work. No go. I checked all of the fuses and they were fine. It was suggested to check them again. I pulled out the ACC fuse and plugged it back in and suddenly I have power. I heard a click when I plugged it in but I don't know where it was coming from. I'm at a loss as to what the problem was. At this point the car started up and ran fine. Drove it home with no issues. Anyone run into something like this?

Re: Power failure
Could it be a little oxidation on the connection in the fuse box. Could you pull it back out and put a little grease on the fuse ends and push it back in.
