I have a slight jerking at stop lights/signs, I have checked OD,D,1st,2nd same issue... N/ and P are fine...RPMs dont drop Noticably it usually idles at 800 RMP in gear when the jerking occures the RPM needle stays within the 800 mark and ever so slightly wiggles but does not leave 800. When I slowly release the brake it feels like the car sort of Jerks as if the brake is tapped very light and fast for about a sec. giving gas will eliminate the jerking or waiting one sec. with foot off brake. The car kinda did this since I bought it minus the jerking when let off the brake.

Oil change before every 3k miles
Trans flud change 4 mos ago.

 

Mine started doing that when the fuel pump started giving out. That might not be your problem, but if it's the original fuel pump in the car - it wouldn't surprise me. If it IS the fuel pump, it will get progressively worse until it starts dying at stop lights and such..

 

man I really really had a feeling it was my fuel pump... did your car kida sputter up steep hills and around 35-40mph with light acceleration?... it has been getting a little worse sense I bought it. (2 or 3 years ago)

 

I do have a fuel pressure gauge, would any indication of low fuel pressure be present with the car in P or N if the problem is while it is in gear?
