WTF.. CAR WONT START.?

Installed the high flow intake and car started up.. Had a bit of a misfire but i figured it needed some adjustment on the distributor.. It was late so i left it alone

Came back the following day put the car in gear and it shut off.. Tried to adjust the timing and now car wont start.. It looks like it wants to but loses gas..

So i checked the injectors and none of them are pulsating.. I checked the fuel pump and it turns on.. disconnected the fuel lines and have gas there... I checked the injector harness with my probe and got a positive feed on both wires..

Now I'm stuck, what could it be.?

No injector pulses? Make sure the distributor wiring is intact.

Are you sure it isnt flooded, also make sure you dont have any vaccum leaks

Also make sure your distributor rotor is pointing to cylinder one on cap when cylinder one is at top dead center on compression stroke.

why do the injector leads both read positive with the key on..?

I had a mechanic check out my timing and said it was off and the #1 point on distributor is towards the fire wall.. (I thought that was weird) But no luck..

Im gonna dbl check the dist. wiring. tomorrow and make sure the inj. are not flooded..

After replacing count less parts. lol I figured out it was a fuse. In my defense it was checked, not by me but it was "checked"

I am able to turn it on but still have to accelerate it so that it stays on..?

Once at a higher rpm it seems fine but my tach doesn't function so I don't know how high it is.

What fuse did you replace? I'm having the same problems you had.

Did you unplug the brown wire next to the blower motor? This is required to set the timing on my 91. Should be the same on yours. The computer will not accept the timing changes with it plugged in.

@ yo soy... I changed the injector fuse #1 under the column.. there are 2, one for each side.

@ tazzmo... No I haven't, wasn't even aware of that.. Thank you.. will try today..

I am at wits end w/ my girl.. It seems for every problem I solve another comes..
She is now throwing a code 43.. I also believe I have a vac leak.. I have white smoke coming out of the engine when I start it.. (simple intake change) It sounds like the egr is hissing/knocking..

I have no idea why or how I got a code 43..? getting frustrated at this whole ordeal..

Check your knock sensor wiring. This code means that the wire from the sensor to the ESC module is open or shorted to ground or power, or that there is a problem with the module or sensor.

I took the plenum an runners off and noticed "carbon build up" on the 2 right rear ports which leads me to believe the left rear injectors are "bad" to some point.

All gaskets are mounted correctly but i noticed that the plenum also got very hot.. Im thinking it has something to do with the egr..
