Dynoing the Car Tomorrow
Taking the car to be dynoed tomorrow just for curiosity purposes and to have a baseline for if/when I ever start modding it. The car is a '91 RS t-top with a tbi 305 and auto trans. It is bone stock other than a K&N air filter. Even stock exhaust. Engine has a little over 211,000 miles on it , trans was rebuilt and has about 5000 on it. Car runs like a top. I changed all fluids and filters a couple weeks ago (fuel, oil, trans) as well as new pcv valve and filter and a new thermostat. Also checked the rear end fluid and all is good there as well. Although I hadn't really checked, I was told the plugs/wires/cap were changed also.
So what is your guess that it'll dyno?
I read that these engines were rated at about 170 crank hp, so I'm figuring it'll be about 140-150rwhp since it runs so well. Iirc the dyno is a Mustang but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I was too, lol. We ran the 1/4 just to make sure it was legit and it was spot on. I think the place also does prom tuning as well. He used to tune some ADRL cars and crew with them. Nice place and lots of nice cars inside.
I may keep the little 305 a little longer now just to see what I can get it to do.

Re: Dynoing the Car Tomorrow
And I know all three of the previous owners. I verified with them that nothing had been done to the car.
Waiting to here back from the dyno guy now to see if he does prom tuning.
