Map Sensor Camaro 91 RS
This is probably a very easy one. LOL
I cant afford to go to the mechanic again. I have a code 34. I will first check for crimped vac lines and just visually inspect the wiring to the piece.
If that all looks fine I think I will purchase the sensor and install it myself. I just wanted to confirm the process. I think I would disconnect the negative battery terminal, locate the piece (remove air filter if necessary) unscrew the one bolt holding the piece in (making sure not to drop the bolt) unplug the connecting vac hose and wiring and just reverse process back in.
Is it right that if I leave the battery terminal unplugged for approx 15 minutes that the codes will reset and then the computer will pick up and sorta plug and play adjust to the new piece or does it require adjustment?
