Oil weight question

Car: 1991 camaro
Engine: 3.1L V6 dynomax exhaust
Transmission: 700r4 auto
Axle/Gears: 89 iroc-z 9bolt disc+posi 3.27
Oil weight question

So I'm pushing 300,000 miles on my 3.1 v6 I always change the oil with castrol 10-30 every 3500 and I was told I should change 20-50 weight oil what do you guys think?

I would say as long as oil pressure is good run your 10w, stay away from synthetic if youre not using it now.

Stick with 10w-30. There's no reason to change.
