my question is my car wont start after being rear ended. the fuel pump kicks on ,motor cranks but will not run.any ideas would be great. and is you live close and maybe kow of a shell i could buy let me know.prefer an 1987 or 1989 gta must be white .thanks in advance.

 

I might have an idea on a white gta shell, but when u ask for someone close by, and don't give your location it makes it kinda hard to help out much. Where are you?

That's a beginning, but what is the fuel pressure? A kinked line or plugged filter from all the debris being jarred loose by the impact could be a problem. Testing pressure at the fuel rail would be a good analytical step.


If there is fuel pressure, is there also spark? That's easy to verify.


Photos of the damage might offer a clue as to whether an entire shell or rear section might be options. It's much easier to find a clean rear section than an entire shell since lots of them have front end damage.

 

Yeah don't think the one I might know about will help (in CO) lol. But definitely check the stuff vader said and go from there
