how do i delete the smog pump?

my smog pump pulley is starting to get a little loud and i was told the bearings in the pulley are starting to go. for now until i can get a new pump or a bypass pulley i just want to bypass it. so i'm thinking all i need to do is buy a bigger belt (968k6 belt) and take off the 3 bolts that hold the pulley on to the pump and reroute it as shown in the pic(sorry for the crappy pic, only thing i could do last minute). am i right? is their anything else i need to do after i bypass it?
