305 tbi no spark no fuel help

I have an 88 Camaro RS with the 305 tbi. I parked it about a month ago, it was running great. I went out to start it today and it would crank but would not start. Fuel pump never kicked on and there is no spark. I changed the coil, changed the spark control module under the distributor cap, and cleaned the cap and rotor points to eliminate any problems there, no spark still... Checked all fuses all were good. Checked wires all wires were good and all grounds were grounded good. Somebody please help. I had the same problem with a 89 s10 4.3L 4x4 and did all the same to it, even put in whole new distributor and computer that's underneath the dash on passenger side. Still didn't do a thing so i got rid of it because i was lost and every body else was clueless as well. And I really dont want to do the same with the Camaro just because it's so pricey and don't want to risk it not working on this either. Please help

Re: 305 tbi no spark no fuel help

Dint just throw parts at it, thats the worst thing to do. I learned that the hard way on my 1st car, ended up costing me the car!

You need to dive in and start testing things. If you have no fuel OR spark, its going to be something that controls BOTH of those right? You did good by checking fuses and relays, but I would double-check them. Pay close attention to the relays! After that I would check the computer and prom first. Play around with them a bit and if you dont get any reaction pull out the multi-meter and start testing wires for power. Make sure you have power to and leaving the computer. If you dont have power coming in the comp, the problem is most likely wiring before the comp. If you have power going to the comp but dont have power leaving the comp theres something wrong inside the computer.

Does the ses light come on with the key ON? Does it flash once then stay on?

I am having the same exact problem. Car will crank for days but no spark and the fuel pump does not kick on. Checked all the same parts as DaddyCowboy1. SES light comes on.
