Car: 89 Firebird Formula 305

Engine: v8 TBI 305 LB9

Transmission: Automatic

89 Firebird 305 Engine Boost Ideas

Does anyone have any tips as to how to boost a 305 engine? I know I should get new exhaust, headers, tires and suspension. But I dont know if theres something in particular that the 305 benefits from most and I am sure there is some expert on here dying to share his (or her haha) wisdom :P
I'm not looking for race mods, just sporty ones. Reasonably priced to give me a little extra leap.
