Re: Timing chain replacement,help needed
alright update time: I'm sorry, I was a complete idiot about the "can't turn the crank thing" because I was trying to turn it by grabbing the damper or using a SMALL ratchet on the crank bolt. I went and bought a 3 feet bar with a ratchet at the end ( I don't know how you call it) plugged it on the crank bolt and it turned, even with all the spark plugs in. I lined the dots perfectly at 12-6, turned the crank 4 times and they were back to 12-6, so there is no possible mistake on the gear emplacement or setting. I just put everything back together, the battery is under charge, fingers crossed, I don't see how it could go wrong with a fully charged battery and perfectly aligned gears with everything put back together the exact same way it was.

Just don't forget, dot-to-dot is #6 firing, not #1 firing. Both dots up, which is one full crank revolution from there, is #1 firing. Set your distributor up accordingly. Get that right, and all will be well.
