New 350 build

Hey everyone im in the process of doing a top end rebuild i recently dropped my 355 down at my local machine shop i took my heads, cam, intake off an thats it so it would come out cheaper for the rebuild. I ordered my holley stealth ram vortec base intake setup an also dropped off my 906 vortec heads with the block . with the vortec heads im gonna get them opened up to 2.02 intake valve for more air intake. The block that i got is a pre 86 4 bolt main with a right hand dipstick 2 piece rear main seal with a hydraulic cam wish i had the roller block design block. Im looking to get a decent cam but dont know where to start looking the hsr intake has a rpm range of 1000-5500 rpm so im guessing a cam in that range would be dead on perfect. Also for fuel delivery im running venom 30 lbs injectors which are rated up to 385hp which is right in my ball park. So my question is what cam can i use with the setup im mostly looking into comp cams, lunati, an howards cams it also seems trickflow makes good power range cams as well. My block will be done in a couple of weeks an be ready to be dropped in by december after christmas an will be at the dyno tuning shop in January

Call Comp Cams... you will not get better advice and more support over the phone.
