Re: Timing contol

Use a NOS controller that controls the NOS flow
( ramps it up to 100% instead of dropping it all in at start like a off / on switch does ) ,
retards the timing and has rev limiter all in one unit

Re: Timing contol

I think the Mallory 685 ignition box is the simplest, most economical way of controlling a single stage of nitrous. It will provide your selected spark retard when triggered by the nitrous circuit and has a built in window switch to avoid bringing the shot in at too low of rpm; can also use the top end of the window switch to cut the nitrous before each shift if you don't have a solid built auto.

Anything up to a 150 shot single stage, I wouldn't use a progressive controller. It's not needed if the rest of your car is set up correctly, and most solenoids are not designed to handle the pulsing.
