Winterizing a 91 TPI
I've got a 5.7 TPI from a 91 Camaro in my 'bird. What is the best way to store the engine for the winter.
I have to store it outdoors, so I want to pull the battery and keep it in the garage (trickle charge) so it would be a pain to start the car every few weeks.
On my uncle's 65 Mustang, he'd just use Stabil in the gas and Marvel's Mystery Oil down the carb until it stalled out. Without a carb, how do I make sure my injectors don't get all gummed up? I know I can suck it in through a vac line, but will that do the job for the injectors?
Any better ideas?

Re: Winterizing a 91 TPI
Mine is kept in a garage out of the weather but here is my normal winter checklist:
I use some stabil in the gas and run the car for awhile. That makes sure you get it mixed and through all the lines and (carb or fuel rails).
I refill and test the antifreeze to make sure it's the proper mixture to sit.
I make sure the tires are aired up or even a little over filled from the normal as mine like to leak over time (they are 10+ years old after all).
I make sure all the trash is cleaned out of the car. There isn't much fun finding you forgot a can of soda under a seat when Spring rolls around and guess what now it has exploded and frozen up on the dash.
I buy some dryer sheets and throw a crap ton all over the floor, seats, and hatch well. They keep the mice out.
I have a battery tender installed next the hold-down so I just plug it in.
