Alright, my car is a 91 camaro RS, every now and then i will try to start the car and nothing will happen. If i wait aprox. 20 mins and try again, it will start like normal. Well... it did it last night right before i went to bed, i woke up at 2 am to go get a drink, and the car still wouldn't start. i was up all night checking everything, i have good power and all, i even tried jumping the starter off, but when i attempted, it didn't even try to turn over or anything.
I just need a new starter right? or can there be another problem?

 

sounds like you have a bad starter, or the solenoid is going bad. had the same trouble with my 82 z28. also, if you haven't already check the connection to the starter and clean the battery terminals (a can of coke usually works). if that doesn't work. just put out for a new starter somewhere around 50 bucks
