Okay so here's the deal im in need of some answers i have an 86 iroc-z tpi and when i accelerate the car bogs and jerks like its not getting fuel for a short time period and when its bogging and dropping rpm's ill even here poppin sounds like from around my maf sensor what could this be? I thought it was the maf sensor but just bought it new today if anyone could it would be greatly appreciated thnx

 

Start by checking fuel pressure.
