Things i need to make car street worthy?

I for sure need a battery, alternator, and some headers. (current headers are warped)
The emissions stuff on th driver side their a little canister with a line coming from gas tank. how do i remove this and what do i do with the line?
i ordered a new pcv valve and grommet im using the driver side pcv for the carb. their is one more hole in passenger side valve cover for a pcv or something. DO i just put a breather?
my brakes no longer work the pedal is super hard and i cant stop car even when cruising like 10 i hooked up the brake booster line to manifold vacuum directly to a port on the manifold. Do i need a new booster?
what do i need to make the tranny shift? I need to hook up the tv cable but i dont have the bracketry i have a edelbrock 1405 carb 600cfm
IS the engine supposed to have smoke coming out from carb? I ran the engine for like a couple iof minutes and theres smoke coming from pcv holes and carb when i have filter off. Is that normal? Its a new carb and dist. oil is full and im getting oil to rockers.

Why are you trying to remove that line/canister in the first place?

Yes, you can just put a breather in there.

For the booster issue, first check to make sure that vacuum is coming from wherever you have the booster line going to. and check the line itself, it could probably just be a vacuum leak.

Your new PCV should take care of the smoke coming from the absence of one. Run your car for longer than a couple of minutes to see if smoke subsides from coming out of your carb...Hope this helps and road ready soon
