86' Iroc Mechanical fuel pump ticking?
86' iroc, carbed 350
hey guys ive been having a ticking sound from my mechanical fuel pump for a while now. The sound is really hollow like a pushrod tapping on metal.
its been there for months now but recently it has increased and i can hear it inside the car while idling with the windows down.
Is ticking a sign of the pump about to go out or something? i havent had any issues with driveablity so im wondering if its anything to worry about.

i have had that before-the pin the actuator arm pivots on was loosening up where it was crimped into the pump body,likely to last a long time like that.
