92 trans am driveability issues
92 trans am driveability issues
I have a 92 Trans am with tpi 350, just replaced engine with a new .030 over shortblock, reused the cam n lifters since it was a roller cam, heads were in good shape, everything else was good on the car except it spun a bearing is why i replaced the shortblock, the problem with the car now is the timing jumps around after i unplug the est wire n put my timing light on it, the car will also die at an idle, the fan runs for no apparent reason it's not hot n the a/c is off, driving down the road at steady speed for too long it will start cutting out n n if i stop it will die n i have to keep it floored to get it started and its flooded out real bad. the only sensor i replaced on the shortblock was the knock sensor, it was an ac delco sensor, could it be the wrong ohm sensor for this car, i also replaced the distributor with a used one but used my module from my old distributor. any help would be appreciated. code 42 n 15.
