'88 350TPI intake off to fix leak, what now?
I yarded my intake manifold and plenum assembly off a few days ago and while cleaning things up I have been contemplating what I can get away with. Thinking about a more aggressive cam and new lifters, valve job and hot tank on the heads, headers, and new distributor. there are a few things that trouble me though with my limited understanding of all the computer systems on the car.
1. Will the computer be able to account for a hotter cam or will it require modifications?
2. does anyone know if the flowtech's headers (BIG-11102FLT) have the O2 bungs in them or if I will have to drill and weld some in. also planning on buying the matching Y-pipe (BIG-11102YFLT)
3. What are te details on the stock distributor on the car so I can start searching out a reasonably price replacement.
Any help would be appreciated.

1 No. You'll need a tune
2 Already there
3 Divorced coil, small cap, computer controlled

Thanks, its too bad about the cam. I'm still getting used to having a computer tell me no
as far as modifications. Are the tunes reasonable, like a chip from summit for 80 bucks or a custom shop and a few hundo?

I like my MSD:

Forget the off the shelf chips. It cost me $500 for a half day w/5 dyno pulls to get it dialed in.

The only reason to replace it is a good amount of what looks like rust dust or shavings collecting around the base. I found it when I went to change my ap and rotor.
