What Rollers will Fit?

I've got a stock 87 iroc, 305 that I'm changing out valve guide seals on. I've decided while I'm in there to replace the stock rockers with some rollers.

I need some direction on which ones will fit under the stock covers with no modifications. I've already checked mine and they are not self aligning type.

I would rather here from the guys who have done this and what they have used, rather than the guy that has put a set on a '72 big block.

Re: What Rollers will Fit?

I have considered this but haven't done it because I don't think there's much to gain; maybe less guide wear?

Anyway, I wouldn't go anything more exotic than Comp Cams Magnum Rocker kit RPH300. These are for '87 and later and should clear the centerbolt rocker covers and they're non-self aligning.

Post up which rockers you settle on and post some install pics when you're finished.

Re: What Rollers will Fit?

thanks paulo.
I thought about those, but I'm wanting full roller (with fulcrum bearings) not just roller tip, but I might be limited to using these.

Any other input on this anyone?

No full roller rocker will fit under a bone stock valve cover... even most aftermarket center bolt valve covers will need some modification.
