Ok im sure this is the millionth time its been posted but here goes. I fell into a somewhat built 350 engine. From what i can figure its a half assed build. I have a 350 that's been bored 40 over. They put new piston heads on it but the crank and rods etc look stock. I was also told it was a .487 cam but have not figured that out yet. The heads were supposed to have been gen 1 vortex heads. They are not! What i actually have are the garbage 462624 casting heads. My intentions now are to find the right crank/rods to make it a stroker. I have the new flat top double eyebrow piston heads already. The current cam is flat tappet which im not a huge fan of. What are peoples suggestions on this build or have any of you done it? Im looking to build it right and put it into my 86 Iroc Z28. I would prefer to make it somewhat budget built but not at the cost of no name crap parts. Let me know Your suggestions please.
