Clogged Injector?

I recently aquired an 87 GTA that is slowly being put back on the road after sitting for 5 years.
The #8 cylinder is not firing. I know there is spark. The injector has power and it checks with a meter. I assume it is clogged or some other mechanical problem. I put in some lucas injector cleaner but I have only run about 1 gallon of gas since dumping it in.
Here is the question. Should I run the rest of the tank of gas then see what happens or just go ahead and change the injector. Thanks

did you check the injectors with an ohm meter? unplug the connectors and test them.
i believe they should be around 16 ohms... im sure some one else will chime in...

If you do decide to change it, do all 8.

Re: Clogged Injector?

Tap on the body of the injector with a wrench while the engine is running. You can tell when they start clicking.

That will be the plan. Found the web site on here for South bay injectors. Looks like great prices.
