make internally balanced flywheel Externally balanced?

I KNOW this is probally impossible or stupid but im hoping for a solution to having an externally balanced 383 sbc 2pc rms motor...and currently swapping in a lt1 t56.
I already bought an almost new http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ctf-700107 custom Centerforce flywheel for this application BUT im told its internally balanced....so I need to know if their is ABSOLUTELY nothing I can do with this flywheel except sell it and buy the right one?

Re: make internally balanced flywheel Externally balanced?

Not really a problem...

It takes about 15 holes ½" diameter ½" deep, around one "side" of it. It then needs to be installed such that the holes are aligned opposite the center of the "flange" pork-chop on the crank. Stock 400 cranks have a dowel pin there; the weight that's removed needs to be directly opposite it.

A 400 crank...

Not necessarily...

How would a flywheel WITHOUT 15 ½" holes ½" deep, be lighter than an otherwise identical flywheel WITH said holes?
