Hey everyone I have an 88 IROC with a 350 that began knocking the other day
I was racing some eclipse and after the race i began to hear a little knock. It wasnt too louf at first butbas i drove home the knock or tapping sound is a better description began to get louder. When the car is at idle the sound isnt loud or even present for that matter but once i give it any type of throttle the sound starts up. I just recently put in a pair of hooker headers (shorties) and a magnaflow catback with a cat delete along with a new distributor. I have a video on youtube where you can sort of hear it, i have an exhaust leak in between the y-pipe and header on the drivers side. Any advice on that would be greatly appreciated
