Distributor wire routing question.
On the coil in cap distributor, wires cross each other at two places.
-Cylinder 1 wire crosses cylinder 2 wire.
-Cylinder 3 wire crosses cylinder 6 wire.
How do you make this nice and clean with 90 degree boots and the coil in cap distributor?
A little higher boots on wire 1 and 3 would be perfect, I guess? I use Accel wires & boots. Will the boots from some different brand be higher?
Or maybe a 45 degree bend on the boots for wire 1 and 3, and keep the 90 degree boots on the rest?

Re: Distributor wire routing question.
The 4 on the right side should point to the right, and the 4 on the left should point to the left.
The #1 should come out to the right & #2 to the left, curl around downwards and make a 180, and cross over in front of the cap. They can be left long enough to lay on the manifold under the dist body.
The #3 should come out to the right and do the same behind the cap.
Then the retaining ring should then snap down on top of all of them so they can't possibly come off. OE, and the better aftermarket, wires have a nub on the end of the boot so that they "clip" into the ring.
They should NOT point across the top of the dist.
