I can't believe you guys are surprised... A lot of people used to use Propane to tune their carbs back in the 70s. And it is a burnable fuel.

Oh I'm familiar with propane engines. I was a forklift tech for a while and a commercial equipment tech also. Heck I'm also experienced with diesel propane injection. And knowing this is why I said risky. There's no back Draft protection there. No safety solenoid. And not properly regulated. Yes it worked. But having a guy sitting in your engine bay dribbling gas into the intake would have worked also. And that would be risky too. Glad it worked

1. I'm no expert on the matter sorry
2. The nozzle I use on the bottle does have a Valve that don't let fire go to the bottle this is sale to any customer so it have to be safe.
3. I agree with you it is not properly regulated this was just to get it to the garage not to be a permanent change.

I grew up on a farm. I too have had many an adventure thinking outside the box on how to correct a proble .
