Adding a Tachometer

Hey all.

I recently purchased a 1986 Automatic Transmission Firebird and it did not come equipped with a tachometer. I'd like to replace the gauge cluster from the speedo/fuel gauges currently there to one with a tach and I wanted to find out what's involved in adding a tachometer to the car.

Not sure if it's relevant, but it's the 2.8L V6 engine.

Thanks!

Can you be more specific? Plug what into where?

Your old gauge cluster will have a plug on it to the dash harness.
You unplug that and plug your new unit in
