I'm wondering how well it performs? I am planning on putting it on a 383 stroker matched with the stock 700r4.

What do you guys think?

For what that costs you could get an F body LS1. Sell your 383 and you'll have more than enough to buy the rest of the parts for the swap. I doubt that EFI setup will deliver the fuel economy and power of an Ls1.

Re: Has anyone tried this system?

Tell me where you can get a running fbody ls1 camaro for 2500. I would buy them and sell the engine and trans all day for 4000. I used the msd atomic efi but I was getting vapor lock. I turned the fuel pressure up to try and compensate but it didnt work well for me. I still believe it would have worked very well as it ran amazing until it warmed up. Startup and part throttle driveability was great... especially throttle response. I would say go for it. If you are unhappy with it return it. Jegs will take anything back, no questions asked. Look up 91 camaro msd atomic on youtube to see my idle quality with it.

This isn't a carburetor topic, and doesn't fit well anywhere else, so I'm moving it to Tech/General Engine.
