Rear intake gasket

The rear intake gasket located by the distributor, not in between the heads, is sticking out and i am sure it is not sealed good at all, at this time my car is running like crap, I am getting a code for the mass air flow burn off relay.

So my ? is, would a leak in the rear intake as I described affect the way it runs......?

Re: Rear intake gasket

It would be an oil leak instead of a vacuum leak.
Most guys use rtv instead of the gasket, those tend to pop out.
