sounds like a faulty regulator, i dont think you can install the diaphram wrong. did you try adjusting it?

This is usually a pretty reliable sign then, that the thing you replaced, (a) wasn't bad, and (b) isn't the problem.

If you take the regulator off and turn on the pump, does fuel come out?

What's the fuel pressure? The pump might not have enough cajones to get up enough pressure for the regulator to even have anything to regulate.

Yes when I take off the reg gas does come out of the fuel line . The fuel pump worked good until I swaped intakes last week .what kind pressure would you see going from the fuel line with no reg hooked up

Re: Need help with fuel question

I believe depending on your pump you could see as much as 90 psi before the regulator. I have a hard time thinking it could be anything other than the regulator since you say you have fuel to it and its not getting thru. only thing i can see go wrong would be maybe something with the diaphram is incorrect or there is a complete blockage there. I am going to be changing mine soon so am curious as to what the problem could be. never seen this before.

Re: Need help with fuel question

or as sofakingdom mentioned it may be possible to have very low pressure therefore not enough to make it thru the regulator. i would try to rig up a fp guage at the supply line and see if the pump took a dump.
