1982 corvette crossfire injection question

Is there an intake manifold out there somewhere that will allow the use of the original crossfire injection setup on a set of vortec heads?

There was a guy talking about using the lower intake from a 96-00 vortec 5.0 & 5.7 engines, its a crossram type intake. I don't think he finished it.

Yeah, that started years and years back, using the lower part of the vortech central port tbi intake... I don't think anyone ever did it...it is a crossram yes!

Re: 1982 corvette crossfire injection question

Was just curious about it...the crossfire works good on the vette, I know some of the early 80's F bodies were equipped with this system and figured I'd get some answers here. Thanks for the input

CFI works on Vettes ; good is subjective.
The tiny ports of the intake did it no favors in the perf dept

CFI intake on on top

Well, it functions like it was supposed to is probably a better way of putting it. I didnt realize the intake ports were so restricted.
Thanks
