What vacuum lines can I remove?
I'm new to this, and am clueless as to what lines I can remove.
I live in NY, and exempt from emissions testing.
I'm sick of looking at the mess of hoses every time I open the hood.
How much of it can I remove?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I've been staring at this mess for the past two years, clueless.

I was in you're same place. I went to a non computer controlled set up though. So I had removed all wiring and hoses associated with that, smog pump helps a lot and I removed the EVAP canister and A/C because I'm in Wisconsin plus I have ttops. All the air lines on the manifolds and the one coming from the converter too. Here's my engine with all the hoses and crap, then another of when I was almost done taking everything off

That's exactly what I want to do! I don't know the first thing about removing things properly though. Could you give me a step-by-step type of thing, or is there something I can reference? I'll be completely honest, I don't know jack about how all of it works. I know the different parts under the hood, but not how all of that works together. Or works without.

To be honest I just looked up on here what can be removed like the evap can, computer, things like that. If you wan't to keep your computer carb I don't think there is that much you can do. I only removed mine because the carb needed a rebuild and my computer was pretty much toast.
