may change my 350 build
i built a carb 350 for my 87 iroc. i still havent put it in yet. mid 70's 350 601 heads 58 cc 2.02 1.94 valves, ported and polished. stock pistons , cam is .218 @ .50 .450 lift. 274 dur. 106 lobe seperation. .025 deck. .015 head gasket. edelbrock 650, generic aluminum dual plane. long tube headers....originally i was going to put it in with the stock 700r4 and stock converter since manufacturer said it would work. my goal is to run no slower then 12.80. so im changing a few things. i already pulled the heads back off to remove the stock pistons. im putting in + 6cc hyperuetic flat tops. 2500 lockup stall, scrap the fresh machined 601's for some vortecs with 2.02 1.94 valves and matching dual plane. do you guys think ill reach my 12.80 goal with this build...

Re: may change my 350 build
I'm confused about your valve diameters but 12.8 should be easy with the right supporting mods.

You're going to need a good quality distributor that you feel comfortable tuning.
