Re: My 88 Gta tpi stalling

The ninth injector is used for fuel enrichment during cold start. Power comes from the starter to the timer switch to the ninth injector. When the engine warms up the timer switch contact opens shutting off the ninth injector. With age and contaminants in the fuel the ninth injector is problematic.

Where's the timer switch and is there a way to determine if its the cold start injector or the switch?

The Bosch timer switch is in the front of the intake manifold on the passenger side next to the cts.

Yes, get this my iPad is connected wirelessly to the iMac that is on dialup. For some reason the iPad is way faster on dialup this way than the iMac. Go figure. I'm just to cheap to pay for satellite Internet for a weekend home lol
