Do I need different pushrods?

I want to put scorpion 1.5 ratio full roller rockers on my vortec 350. Can I reuse the stock pushrods or do I need to change lengths or something because of the new roller rockers?

Thanks.

You'll have to mock it up. From my experience stock pushrods tend to be too long.

Re: Do I need different pushrods?

Going from a stamped steel rocker to a roller rocker of the same ratio can usually reuse factory length pushrods however you never know how far the valve train geometry may be out even with stock pushrods. Stock rockers have a very wide ratio tolerance while aftermarket roller rockers are more precise.

It's always best to use a length checker to make sure the geometry is a close as possible. Technically, at half lift, the rocker should be 90* to the pushrod. This will make the smallest witness mark across the valve tip even if it isn't directly in the center of the valve tip.

A simple answer is yes you can but it's always better to make sure the geometry is correct.
