New l98 tick when warm...less than 2k miles on motor
I'm having an issue with my new l98 I can hear a ticking when the motor warms up and it gets faster with rpms but not louder, I just replaced all my lifters, and pushrods because I had a misadjusted rocker arm that broke one of ny studs and bent the rod slightly I am out of ideas on this and I'm tired of tossing money at it, my only reasoning for doing it to begin with was my lifters were used and combined with a broken stud I just did it all to be done with it. I've adjusted my rockers using the eoic method and the messy engine on method with little to no change, I have a used lt1 cam in there that was inspected by the shop that built the short block I'm looking for other possible issues so I can try and figure this out. I haven't used a stethoscope yet but I'm picking one up tonight, I heard there may be an issue with certain oil pump sleeves that make noise can anyone shed some light on that?
