kinda on a buget here... was wondering what you thought of a stock 350 cam in my 82 305???

What do yo want to do with your car?

Headers and a 3" catback would do wonders to "Wake up" your 305.

After that, I'd do heads, and lastly the cam because the exhaust and heads will restrict the 350 cam pretty badly (which is why those are the first mods we recommend anyway becaus they restrict the 305 cam).

the reason I just want to throw the cam in is because I have the 350 cam with the 350... dont make fun of me when I tell you that I had the hole350 4bolt main vortec block without even knowin what its worth I gave the vortec heads to my cuz when his heads were warped on his truck... come to find out after joinin 3gen those heads are a popular upgrade!!! lol well now I'm here with just the block which is a roller with the cam still in it. so thats why I asked, because of my budget I was thinking any cam would be better then the 305 cam in there now. I know its restricted by the heads after reading this post but I will be getting a set of summit cast aluminum block... ill post the part# whe nI get home but it was real affordable like 560$ assembled and ready I think it had bigger valves but Ill post it for you when I get home.
