New heads
Waited 9 weeks but new heads are here! Will assemble next weekend and see how it performes. 355, zero deck, flat tops, comp 268H, 1.5 comp roller rockers, performer rpm, 750dp, Pro-filer 195 heads, 64cc. Built 700r4, vette converter, 9bolt 323 gears. Should be a fun street car.

Curious.What is the vett T/C rated at??. Of course there are way too many variables to take any rating as gospel.

"Should" stall around 2300, and on cold non sticky tires with the motor the way it is I had tried it, and seemed to be around 2200, which tells me on sticky tires and the motor a little healthier its actually going to be a bit higher then that. I'm going to dig through my paperwork today, the previous owner had a local builder do the trans last year, and the guy is very known locally for some stout and reliable OD trans builds. When the old owner dropped it off he just requested that it be built to handle a ton of HP and be very drivable,but wasn't sure about the converter and had told me he thought they went with the vette one. But after being under the car it looks like B&M blue to me, I know the color means zip, but based on the stall I'm wondering if it isn't an after market converter, so I'm going to see what I have on paper to verify. The tranny felt amazing on the short drive I had a couple weeks back.
